Conan the Barbarian Sculpture

Conan the Barbarian just had to be done.
I've always liked this iconic figure. Conan Saga
and Savage Sword of Conan both played a big
role in my artistic growth as a youth.

Red Robin Sculpture "Relief"

This piece was done as a gift.
Completely made from polymer clay
this rendition of a Red Robin in a relief. Actually a
3D sculpture. It hangs on the wall like a painting.
I did apply some extra color with pastel chalks
brushed onto the wet clay of the bird. The back ground has
no paint as well it is a complete fade created with clay alone.

Planet Hulk gets his Shield! with a Twist

The Hulk was missing his Great Shield!
Since the original concept was complete I realized
He was missing one of the coolest pieces.
The Shield. Well I am still learning and growing with
the sculpting process my technique and options have evolved.
Note the color I added to the shield before baking. Done with
powdered pastel chalk brushed onto wet clay.

Venom Bust

Venom Bust in process.
I wanted to show people what some of the process invilves.
This piece is finished in reguards to the sculpt, I have
only to paint the sculpture at this point to finish it up.
Unlike Poler clays usually colored, im using a solid color
called super sculpey firm grey. You may notice ive added some green stuff
after baking the sculpey for some additional details.

Toothless Sculpture #3

Toothless the dragon from "How to train your Dragon"
is one of the coolest dragons in film.
This rendition of Toothless was done in
polymer clay totally - No paint at all
I did include a river rock I found to add more realism
This one was lots of fun!

The Incredible Hulk Sculpture

The Hulk is an iconic comic book
character we are all familiar with.
This is my attempt to sculpt him with polymer clay,
no paint was added to the sculpture.(excluding the base)
I have refined my technique at this point
to include a core of mostly aluminum foil and tape.
